Namibian President Keeps Up Attacks

Namibian president Sam Nujoma says that he wants gays and lesbians
arrested, imprisoned, and deported, Ananova.com reports. In an address to
regional leaders, Nujoma said he wants to stop gays from doing "bad
things" and that the entire nation must condemn homosexuality.
"Traditional leaders, governors see to it that there are no criminals,
gays, and lesbians in your villages and regions," Nujoma said.
"We...have not fought for an independent Namibia that gives rights to
criminals, gays, and lesbians to do their bad things here." Nujoma also
criticized people who fall in love with foreigners. His attack on gays and
lesbians is the second in the past month.
