A British man has been jailed in Morocco for having sex
with two men.
Kenneth Watson is accused of having sex with an 18 and 16
year old, according to the BBC.
Gay sex is illegal in the north African country and is
punishable by a jail sentence, sometimes up to three years.
Watson, 66, must serve a year in jail for the crime,
although he is currently appealing against his conviction, the British Embassy
says. He was also charged the equivalent of £31 for the crime.
The 18 year old man was also given a year long
sentence, but the 16 year old was released as he was considered a minor under
Moroccan law.
