A recent letter observed that as a result of the Supreme Court’s sodomy
decision, consensual sex with children and bestiality would become a
constitutional right in the privacy of your bedroom.
There is little reason to worry. Most states eliminated their sodomy laws
years ago, beginning with Illinois in 1961, but not one of them has legalized
“consensual sex with children.” However, Texas did decriminalize
bestiality in 1974.
